ULTIMATEWARRIOR
I did a search but hadn't found anything on the forum or on google. I was hoping to use some hot sauce of mine to spice some dishes up (especially with eggs). I have a Cajun Sunshine Hot Pepper Sauce I bought from Woodmans a month or two back. The ingredients all seem fine but here is what's listed ... Red Cayenne Peppers, Distilled Vinegar, Water, Salt and Vegetable Gum. My main concern was the vegetable gum that is in it and if that was compliant? Thanks in advance for the clarity!
Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 4, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 4, 2017 This would be fine. If you google "Whole30 common additives" there's a handy cheat sheet of some of the common ones and whether they are permitted. It doesn't include absolutely everything but the absolute "NO" are outlined and there are a couple "gums" listed that are OK as well.
ULTIMATEWARRIOR
Thanks so much. I saw the list you speak of but didn't think about the "No" list and it not being included. Thanks!
