KathieFox84
I'm going to a crawfish boil this weekend and I know sometimes people use butter in the boil. Thoughts?
slc_melissa
You'd have to ask how it's prepared.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted January 6, 2017 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2017 They can also put sausage in them, and the chances that the sausage would be compliant are pretty slim. And then there's seasonings, you'd have to find out what was in those. Plus, there's often corn in them. You'd need to ask your hosts what all they're using to have any idea if it was compliant, but my guess is, unless you've found someone doing a Whole30 and hosting a crawfish boil, it's probably not going to be. laura_juggles
Is it possible to ask them to prepare some crawfish for you separately and you can bring a bunch of compliant veg to share?
