Goldcoastgreen 0
I'm going out of town for 4 days and will be entertaining clients, lunches and dinners, every day. Any suggestions to avoid the stigma and judgment associated with eating clean and not drinking?
Moderators ultrarunnergirl 1618 Posted January 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted January 12, 2017 The easiest out is to say you have had a health issue, and you are working with your doctor who wants you to do an elimination diet to try to determine the source. People won't give you a hard time if it's a medical issue. Just try to re-direct attention from food, etc and don't fall into the trap of "but why would your doctor not want you to eat ___?" Administrators ladyshanny 7997 Posted January 12, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 12, 2017 I also like to reply to drink or food offers with "I'm alright for now, but thank you". Although YOU know that "for now" also means "and later", it gently closes the door without inviting conversations because it's just a non-answer, answer.
