Julia's Whole 30

Whole 30! I'm doing this alone and during a very busy time at work and stressful time personally, so wish me luck!

 

Day 1: 

B: Homemade Whole-30 compliant Kombucha, 2 eggs, 2 turkey bacon

L- Carrot, butternut squash & turmeric soup + 1 turkey bacon crumbled on top 

D- Monkfish, sweet potato fries, green beans 

Recap: Felt great! Slept awful for the 2nd day in a row due to stress. Hoping the Whole 30 helps with my sleep. 

 

Day 2: 

B- 2 eggs, 2 turkey bacon, banana, 1 cup coffee

L- turkey breast, green beans, sweet potato fries, 1 scoop almond butter 

D- Carrot, butternut squash & turmeric soup, 4oz turkey breast, dates/cashews 

Recap: Had a pretty solid headache all day and felt tired. Genuinely felt just like a hangover and I felt like all the water in the world could not quench my thirst. Felt so genuinely tired but still didn't sleep well.  Definitely a very rough day. 

Day 3: 

B- 2 eggs, 2 turkey bacon, banana, 1 cup coffee

L- turkey breast, green beans, sweet potato fries, a little butternut squash puree to dip turkey in *so not satisfying anymore- need some variation in these meals 

D- 

Recap: Woke up so tired. Had a full headache again today but feels slightly better than yesterday. Need a seriously rejuvenating sleep or its going to get ugly.
