Starting January 23rd

Hi Everyone...just returned from a two week vacation in Puerto Plata. I am soooo sick from the food there (or something else) that the idea of eating food right now repulses me. Right now it's fluids only. My girlfriend called and told me she had started the Whole30 January 3rd, I am hoping to feel better by Monday as I feel this would be the opportune time to start this plan. I have a nasty sugar addiction and have discovered or finally admitted to myself that I am lactose intolerant. In addition I suffer with fibromyalgia and IBS. 

I would like to know though what happens after the 30 days...Can you stay on this plan permanently? Or is there another plan? Since I know I have all these issues and addictions, why would I reintroduce them?
