ChristyJ 73
I'm flying on Wednesday and don't know what to do about chewing gum for take-off and landing. Any ideas?? I can't stand when my ears won't pop. I can't have gum, right?
ArtFossil 841
You can't have gum on a Whole30. Just swallow, swallow, swallow (mouth closed) during takeoff and landing. Or Google for other remedies. I haven't had gum since my November 2015 Whole30 and I've survived flying. And saved money.
laura_juggles 536
You can practice this before you fly, but if you can consciously drop the back of your jaw, it will trigger you to yawn which will pop your ears. My ears, due to structural abnormalities, aren't able to pop on their own so I've tried pretty much everything. The yawning works consistently.
