Michelle H
Can anyone recommend what they drink to warm up on a super cold day instead of something like hot chocolate? I don't drink coffee but I love a mug of hot chocolate in the mornings when it's super cold and I'm headed to work. Since I'm on Day 1 of the plan, I'm missing that early morning hot warmth! Any suggestions on what to drink as an alternative or is it best to just bundle up and forgo it entirely? Thanks!
laura_juggles
Compliant tea blended with some canned coconut milk? There isn't going to be a creamy, sweet, chocolate-y alternative because that's running into SWYPO territory.
jmcbn
A mug of blended soup or bone broth work well for a lot of people - alongside a template breakfast of course...

Babsie95
I love drinking bone broth anytime I want a hot beverage
JesterBL
I like Morning Thunder by Celestial Seasonings. It is a mix of black tea and roasted yerba mate- the roast gives it, to my mind, some of the roast-y notes of dark hot chocolate. Other than that, there are cocoa based 'coffees' like CrioBru and Choffey, but I can't attest to them. EDIT: They are on the Official Whole30 approved list, however, under 'beverages': http://whole30.com/whole30-approved/
Trina Jackson
I have tried the CrioBru and while it is good don't expect it to be chocolaty or you will be disappointed. How about having chai tea with some coconut milk? It has all the yummy warm spices that pair well with the creamy coconut milk.
