jdoxie31
I am on day 11 and I couldn't care less about eating anymore. I was really excited to get started with my Whole30 and spent a lot of time gathering recipes and planning. The first week went great. Yes, there were a couple of rough days where I might have killed for a piece of bread, but I really haven't had a lot of cravings. The problem I have run into is that I just don't want to eat. Nothing really sounds good anymore. I'm sitting here right now with a really yummy chipotle pork chop with snap peas and I've eaten a few bites and really just don't want any more. This happens with EVERY meal! For the most part I feel fine. I'm a little lightheaded at times, I'm sure from both the lack of sugar and the fact that I know I'm not eating enough because I don't want to eat. Has this happened to anyone else? Will it get better? I've never been a big meat eater and am eating way more meat now than usual. Could that be part of it? I don't think I've ever been in this position before!! kirkor
I think you just need to get out of your head about it. Not every meal will blow your skirt up. Just keep eating per the template and some meals, ya, it might seem like a chore or errand, like brushing your teeth or mowing the lawn. Just get it done. jmcbn
It's fairly common to lose your appetite at some point in the 30days. Unfortunately NOT eating will only perpetuate the problem. Keep plating up your meals and eat as much of them as you can, ensuring you get a little of each food group, then wrap up what's left and go back to it as soon as you feel able (don't wait until the next meal time). Your appetite will soon come around again...
