cchatt2017
Hey ladies! I'm getting married on May 21st, 2017 and will have my final dress fitting April 14th - to hem, take in, everything. I want to start the Whole 30 Program this Tuesday, February 7th. I have done whole30 (loosely) before but never was able to make it to the 30 days completely compliant. With the motivation of my wedding coming up - I really want to stick to it! Anyone else do a Whole 30/60/90 before their wedding and want to share their results? Any advice on the dress fittings or how/when you incorporated working out too? Don't want to make too ambitious of a goal but really do want to feel healthier and better! Would love to hear your stories or thoughts or see pictures! Link to comment

Kopacabana OTF enthusiast
I am currently doing Whole30, started on January 30th. My wedding is May 20th, 2017. I decided to do Whole30 again, my first time was about a year ago, because the gym that I go to (Orange Therory Fitness) was doing a 6 week Challenge. I am half way through the 6 week challenge, I started Whole 30 a little late into the challenge, but we had our half way point weigh in moderator edit to remove scale discussion. My first round of Whole30, I didn't exercise at all other than walking my dogs and lost 13 pounds. So, I am excited to see what I can do, now that I am actively working out. I will keep you updated if you would like. Link to comment

caitlinchandler
I'm also getting married May 20, 2017. I just started my second Whole30 yesterday. My main motivation is how well my eczema and hormonal acne cleared up when I finished my first Whole30 in 2015. Prior to starting this second round, I had been eating pretty much everything in moderation (I'm a total foodie and tend to adopt a YOLO attitude towards most savory foods, especially pizza). But the eczema and acne aren't showing any signs of disappearing, so I decided to try it again to get the glow and the much-needed energy for my wedding. I've also been going to CrossFit classes 2-3 times per week for about 3 months now. I didn't do any formal exercise during my last Whole30 two years ago, so I'm interested to see what happens. I'm planning to include plenty of sweet potatoes and other starchy veg to fuel my workouts. Link to comment
