pinkyt177
I just found this area so this was day 15. I'm on this food plan for the long haul. I have had so many NSV's so far to call me a believer. By day 4, I have been off of insulin. My highest blood sugar I have had is 122 since starting. I have had exposed bone in my mouth for 9 months following having all of my teeth pulled, it has completely healed. (I have sjogren's syndrome an autoimmune condition) which causes bad teeth. I have had not one single episode of ibs since starting. I look younger so I am told. Meal 1. Chicken sausage and left over pot roast carrots sauteed on the stove and a plum. Meal 2. Also a chicken sausage sauteed with peppers and yellow squash and Kale chips. Meal 3. Out to dinner, Red Lobster. Tomato, onion salad with balsamic vinegar I forgot to tell them to hold the mozzarella cheese and caved and ate 1/2 of one small mozzarella pearl, crab legs, asparagus and a plain baked potato. (I like them plain, no butter, only salt and pepper) my mom and child both had brownies ala mode in front of me at the restaurant. So I came home and had a cherry pie Larabar. I drank a bunch of water too. I refuse to allow my one little slip to derail my eating plan. I consider this my way of life. It's my journey, not only a single race. So, day 1 begins again on February 7th.

Use the Larabar incident as a lesson in reactionary eating or something, and you'll be better prepared next time.
