Nicol
HI. I am on day 3. I woke up feeling constipated and then remembered that when i started eating paleo only a few years ago i got so constipated i had to go to urgent care. once i cleared that with a stool softener the only way i could keep regular was to add in some brown rice. I started my whole 30 after a year of eating anythng (not just paleo). is this a common problem for people? what causes it and what can i do to clear it without going off plan?? thanks for your quick help! jmcbn
Some changes in bowel movements are definitely common. That said, in order to offer proper advice it would be helpful to know what you've been eating. Could you list out our meals for the past 3-4 days? Also, are you drinking the recommended half an ounce of water per pound of body weight, daily? Are you taking a magnesium supplement? Getting some regular movement? Nicol
THanks, I am eating exactly what's on the 7 day meal plan. the only exception is that today i ate leftover lunch from monday and tuesday, not the tuna boats. not drinking enough water probably. usually take a magnesium supplement but have stoped because i haven't read the label yet, to make sure it's ok to take. walking about 45 min. per day. Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted February 8, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 8, 2017 It would be more helpful for us if you would actually list out the specific veggies, protein and fats that you're eating. Not all of us have access to the 7 day meal plan, let alone when you're making substitutions. Water intake is recommended to be 1/2 oz per pound of bodyweight and being dehydrated can make bathrooming extremely difficult.
