Kellie
I like to get out of the office in the afternoons and wander over to Timmy's for coffee, but I always want to add the delicious cream. Tastes great, but not great for my skin. I'm thinking I'll bring a little jar of coconut cream (I refrigerate a can of coconut milk, and separate out the "cream") to the office and add it in my coffee. Delicious and skin friendly right? Just wondering how the cream will hold up for the day (or more) at room temp??? Has anyone tried this? Kellie
Robin Strathdee
All I know is that I did this once and forgot in my purse for a few days.... Not pretty. That said, it might do okay in a drawer in an air conditioned office. You could test it out at home (so as to avoid any funky smells).
Melissa Urban
I think it will hold up for a day, but I wouldn't go much longer than that. Either put it in a container on ice at your desk, or bring in a fresh batch of "cream" each day. You could also try coconut butter - solid at room temp, but would melt in your coffee. Not sure if that might be too oily for you, but it does eliminate the whole "storing at room temp" thing. Melissa
