Kirsteen
'Fraid not. Absolutely nothing soy is permitted. I don't miss the milk but I used to love a bowl of miso soup.
whitjm5
I never realized how bad soy was until I started listening to a few podcasts (Balanced Bites and Paleo Lifestyle & Fitness) that addressed it. Here's an article geared towards women: http://www.paleoforwomen.com/phytoestrogens-estrogens-and-estrogen-receptors/ Hope it provides some insight. :-)

Johnny M
There are a number of issues with soy. It contains phyto-estrogrens which your body can confuse for sex hormones. Studies have linked it abnormalities in menstrual cycles, fertility, and sexual development issues for women. In men it's been shown to increase breast tissue. In addition, an astonishing majority of it (over 90%) is genetically modified. While this is currently a hot topic in debate, there's some evidence showing GMO's are pretty bad for you. Thanks for this information as well Johnny M. I don't want any of these things for myself or my family so I won't be intentionally buying anything that contains Soy. The soy lattes are definately out for me as I notice a BIG difference in my emotions when I had them!
