Change start date?? Just got over a cold/flu...advice

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but figured I'd give it a try. So the week before last, I totally psyched myself up to start my Whole30. My start date was last Saturday, Feb 18th....well, as luck would have it, I came down with that vicious cold/flu that everyone is getting and was out of work and commission for a week...so needless to say I never started. However, I'm finally on the mend, back at work and was thinking I would start my W30 on March 1st....but now I'm second guessing myself. 

My question is, has anyone else started in the midst of not feeling 100%? Although I feel much better, I'm still coughing a lot and not quite "right" yet. I am debating with holding off for a few more days for my start date. My main concern is that my appetite isn't quite normal yet and I'm still coughing, which means I may need cough syrup/drops which of course isn't a good idea (I'm sure it's loaded with chemicals). OR...should I just keep my start date and hope for the best? I'm really torn. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much.
