angmilky
Hello everyone, I have some wild cod loins in my freezer from Sam's Club, so I was wondering what your favorite Whole30 way to prepare is? Thanks! Currently on Day3. This is my third Whole30, but the first time I have had my husband on board with me.
NoMoreCrunchyCravings
For an easy recipe, heat oil/fat in a pan, add the cod filets, and sprinkle with paprika, onion and garlic powders, and fresh cracked black pepper. Flip and apply spices again when the first side is done. Yum! For a more complicated recipe, cut the cod into chunks, dip each chunk into scrambled egg, then into coconut flour or almond meal seasoned with Old Bay or some kind of blackened fish seasoning (I have one by Badia brand that is compliant), and pan sauté in olive oil until browned on all sides. Use as the protein in fish tacos, served in lettuce wraps with guacamole, fresh squeezed lime juice, cilantro, and salsa. Yum!
