Ready4Results Posted March 14, 2017 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Inspired by Julie on this thread, I chose March 15th as my start date. It's not a Monday or the first of the month. It's the middle of everything. I've done other programs, but never a Whole30. I've read the first few chapters of the Whole30 guide to total freedom, and I feel my mindset kicking in. I look forward to learning how my body responds to this very CLEAN program. Over the years I've lost and gained weight numerous times. This time it just hasn't come off. I started an exercise program the beginning of the year. It's getting solid. My health-related theme in 2017 is simple, "Younger This Year." I look forward to the support we'll share in this thread. Ready4Results Posted March 14, 2017 Author Share Posted March 14, 2017 So ... tomorrow is the BIG day - and today is pi day - that's pi - 3.14 ... not pie. All kidding aside, I've been warming up to this for the last 3 days. I've eliminated MOST of the foods that are off my list throughout the Whole30, have had no snacks, and the only sugar has been in a couple sauces. There's no more bread in the house. The good news? I don't have a headache or other symptoms and I woke up hungry. I'm feeling pretty good about this - until I realized I DON'T have a good plan for eating out. Yikes! Breakfast with my networking group Wednesday morning. I'll be checking out the Whole30 pdf's today. Taking a deep breath. Tomorrow's the day!
