If it's just that flavor you're wanting, maybe look for prosciutto or pancetta, which should be easier to find. That doesn't really help if you're wanting like an Easter ham, though. I did find a whole ham from US Wellness Meats that is carrageenan and SF, but it is more than I'd prefer to spend! I love prosciutto and pancetta, but not quite the ham flavor I'm looking for.
