Cambria144
It's just day 8 on the Whole30 and I'm already noticing changes. My pants aren't getting looser YET, but I've stopped taking the meds I was prescribed for chronic sinusitis. Yay! This is a big deal for me, as I was taking a ridiculous number of pills each day. Also, in just 8 short days I'm feeling more energetic and sleeping better. Thank you Whole30! I'm looking forward to experiencing even more health improvements as this adventure unfolds. Cambria144
Day 12! My latest observation: I'm not hungry all the time- and I'm not thinking about food all the time. Eating whole, nutrition dense foods rather than counting calories or protein grams, is bringing joy back into meal time.
SugarLandGirl
Hi, Cambria- I started the day after you did and was looking for someone who is in the same part of the experience as I am. I agree with you that I don't think about food all the time like I used to-other than cooking it and buying it, which seems to be a constant chore. I am sleeping better too, but I am one of those people who needs to see SOME weight loss or change in the feel of my clothes at least to feel successful. I had to go to the doctor the other day, and of course they weigh you, and I hadn't lost a pound. I know the lectures about this not being a weight loss diet, and I am on board, but still its tough....
