Sonya LeBoeuf
I am looking to start the Whole30 program on May 1 but am concerned for I have an egg and tree nut allergy and am concerned what to eat for breakfast. Currently, I have a vegan pea-power shake with coconut milk and fruit each day. ( I am also dairy free due to intolerances). This is all my system can tolerate. What types of things can I eat for breakfast on this diet knowing I have these restrictions?
laura_juggles
Don't think of it as breakfast and think of it as meal 1. Whatever you'd eat for lunch (meal 2) or dinner (meal 3) - have it for meal 1. I don't like eggs nearly enough to eat them 30 mornings in a row, so there were days/weeks when I would have blended soup, chicken breast, and coffee with coconut milk first thing in the morning. Or steak and green beans. Food doesn't care what time it gets eaten, so we shouldn't be so worried about what is or isn't "breakfast food". Sonya LeBoeuf
Hi Laura, you make a good point that I hadn't considered about not thinking about the meal as "breakfast". I want to have all my ducks in a row so I will be successful come May. Thanks for the great tip.
