Day 01-03 - didn't get there last month. Back to the drawing board on 1 May. Have started in great style - third day today of full W30 and feeling better already! And I've worked in swimming immediately rather than wait. So let's see, no promises. One day at a time.

Day 04-05 - ok I think this time I'm back on the journey properly! No offroading, no half-committing. Food has been a mix - mainly stirfrys and salads with loads of veggies, some fruit, some meat (probably went a bit overboard last night on the meat) and no sugar, alcohol, grains, dairy or legumes. Rock on!

Day 06 - first milestone past. Went out to a football match last night - ate beforehand and then had a bottle of water and a black coffee at the game. That's it. Major achievement.

Meanwhile breakfast was a scrambo with a little bacon, yellow pepper and mushrooms. Lunch was a big salad with leftover chopped sausages from the night before and dinner was pork and chicken with a potato and a salad. Plus some figs.

Off to the dental hygienist this morning. Love. Not.

Days 07-09 - I've started back on my vitamin d and apple cider vinegar regime each morning. I really like the taste of the vinegar but I do skoll it with a couple of glasses of water.

Sunday was a great day - really humming now with my food prep. I cooked a paleo butter chicken dish with cauliflower & broccoli rice plus baked sweet potato for dinner which was delicious.

Yesterday a cooked a simple bacon and eggs with avocado and tomato. Lunch out was a piece of baked chicken and green beans and then last night it was meat and 4 veg - a steak with potato, broccolini, carrots and zucchini. Clean and delicious.

This morning I have a sick family so I'm staying home - have cooked a delicious veggie stir fry with eggs to help everyone get over their bugs.

Day 10 - still trying to get into the rhythm of daily updates to my W30 log.

Continued the exercise yesterday - 10k mountain bike ride which makes it two in two days. Lunch was leftover butter chicken (a great recipe from renowned Australian paleo chef Pete Evans - https://peteevans.com/recipes/butter-chicken/) with cauli/broccoli rice.

After the ride a can of tuna. Then last night I pan seared chicken breasts and finished them off in a sauce of fresh chilli, loads of garlic, parsley, chicken stock and lemon juice. What a flavour bomb! Completed the meal with roast sweet potato slices and a fresh salad.

Rock on!

Days 11-13 - mojo on, locked and loaded. On Thursday I cranked out another MTB ride. Painful but good. Decided to go up an intermediate climb. Why would I do that? Anyway, managed not to have a slow crash, got off a few times and made it around.

Today I climbed a set of stairs about 20 times moving furniture. I'll feel the burn tomorrow. Demolished roast pork and salad tonight.

Day 14 - Celebration Day!

Hungry hungry hippo this morning! It's Mother's Day and our first with the little bloke so I'll put together a special Mother's Day breakfast this morning.....when they wake up!! Doobedoobedoo... tap tap tap... c'mon I have presents to give!! :)

Still maintaining the W30 rage but, in my latest W30 carnation, I'm really trying to eat smaller portions without starving myself. This is working, somewhat, sometimes.

So after two weeks I'm definitely feeling better, less bloated, less swollen. Hands & face are leaner and the tummy is definitely somewhat reduced. Maybe I can get into my suit pants this week!

Hey Dave- It's been a long time... so glad to see you posting to the W30 forum.  I am restarting W30 tomorrow.  Jody was the catalyst.  I'm glad she contacted me... It's going to feel like old times. :)

I just wanted to stop by and say hi!

Days 15-17 - time flies when you're having fun. This is still happening. Excellent!

Meals have been veggies, veggies, more veggies, some protein (created a prosciutto-wrapped salmon fillet dish with a bed of baby spinach leaves and tomatoes last night in about 10 mins flat!), good oils and some fruit. A few nuts. Lunch was a salad. Breakfast was a veggie stir fry with eggs and chicken breast. 40 laps of swimming (it's a small pool) yesterday, 40 laps again today.

This is a thing now. Back on the horse. But beware of complacency - it only takes one bite of something off-road and BAM I'm gone again. So no bites! No licks, no tastes!!

Day 18 - I'm back in Canberra after a few days in Sydney. This regular travel thing is crazy but somehow I'm keeping my food intake on track. Lunch was salad only. Dinner was a cold piece of chicken, a couple of small bits of prosciutto and some nuts before I hit the road. Not perfect but still correct!

Home now and looking forward to whatever breakfast shenanigans I can create this morning. Oh and good black Nespresso coffee.

Day 19 - reset. Got into a special occasion drink with my brother in law Friday night. Everything else was on program except the drinking. Back to zero rather than just ignore it and keep counting the days.

Day 01-02 - down the coast and a bit challenged on the food front (not on-program or off-program, just didn't get our sh&t together on what we were cooking). Ended up with san choy bow which was average. Not a lot to it. Mince, lettuce. So this morning it was a scrambo with lots of mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach - delicious. About to shift a whole pile of firewood then hit the surf.
