sfunk
I'm on Day 14 and have been having a histamine reaction (itching) all over for a few days. Here is a list of what I've eaten (I keep it pretty simple): steak, chicken, ground beef, sweet potatoes, green, yellow & red peppers, avocados, guacamole, homemade mayo (with ingredients listed plus dry mustard) eggs, vinegar, bananas, oranges, grapes, 2 or 3 strawberries, black coffee, LaCroix water, unsweetened iced tea, lemons, limes, mushrooms, celery, spinach, lettuce, onion, broccoli, snap peas, cauliflower, carrots, cashew cookie Lara bar, almonds (only about 5), cashews, coconut aminos , olive oil, ghee, garlic, maybe tomatoes in a salad I bought out (can't remember), cumin, salt, pepper, cayenne i have not used anything new such as lotions or laundry detergent has anyone else experienced this? It's driving me crazy

It's driving me crazy I've highlighted the high histamine food (vinegar) & histamine liberator's (foods which encourage the production of histamine) you're eating. I'd start by removing those and see how you go...
JoniScott
Why do so many people have itching around day 10 of whole30? This should be examined. This is my 2nd Whole30 and both times severe itching. Last time it went away and I felt better, I hope it does again. It just seems when this symptom is mentioned it is downplayed, but it's very common. I wonder if it is part of the detoxing process. Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted May 21, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 21, 2017 I don't necessarily think that this symptom is downplayed... there are a fair few number of symptoms of detox, each unique to the person detoxing... above, the moderator assisted the person with what they might want to look at aside from detoxing to see if that would help... Would you like us to look at your intake and see if anything stands out?
