Administrators ladyshanny Posted May 10, 2017 Administrators Share Posted May 10, 2017 Yikes, @Phelps sorry to hear this! If you're interested, you could post your typical meals (include portion sizes as they relate to the template, meal timing, exercise, fluid intake, sleep, stress etc) and we can take a look and see if anything stands out. Were you feeling horrible the entire time? You made it to 40 days so was anything about it good? Maybe we can build on that? What were your reasons for doing Whole30? What was "crappy" before you started and are the same things crappy now or different stuff? We're here to try and help if you want.
Phelps
Sure. Sorry for being such a Downer yesterday!! My meals were like this: Breakfast: A stir fry that included: 2 Eggs 2 Tbs Ghee Handful of Spinach Leaves, Cherry Tomatoes, Green Onions, Peppers, Sliced Celery sliced banana 1cup of black coffee Lunch: sliced grilled chicken breast, 2Tbs coconut oil sliced cucumbers, green peppers, 2 kiwis, radishes, spinach leaves hot lemon water hot cinnamon stick water 2 24 oz bottles of water Dinner: grilled fish 2 Tbs Ghee asparagus & mushrooms 1 baked potato Hot water with Cinnamon sticks I do have 3 kids ages 8, 4, and 1. The 1 year old and 4 year old are not good sleepers. So I think maybe the stress of being a Mom and not being able to sleep had a big thing to do with digestive issues. I love how the program got me to get away from artificial sweeteners and soy milk! I love how the program got me to eat more veggies. but I didn't feel good. I thought for sure with no bread and all the other non compliant foods on Whole30 that my bloating would go away, it didn't. I did decide to take the slow roll intro. I have found that now that the pressure is off, I feel better, and have noticed I'm still eating W30. I didn't go off the deep end. Yesterday, I chose to have croutons in my salad. But, for the rest of the evening ate W30. i was beginning to wonder if eggs or my cup of coffee was causing me digestive issues. But I'm not ready to give up my coffee & I have no idea what I'd eat in the morning instead of eggs. The last think I want is chicken, seafood or red meat in the morning. i just don't know. do you have any advice? thank you so much!
jmcbn
10 hours ago, Phelps said: i was beginning to wonder if eggs or my cup of coffee was causing me digestive issues. There are all kinds of foods that can cause digestive distress. Unfortunately with only one days worth of food it's difficult to see what the culprit might be, but with a little more information (say the previous 3 days worh of food?) we might be able to see a pattern.... Could you provide a little more info for us to take a look?
