Hello, Whole30!

Hello, group! I'm taking the weekend to clean "house" in prep for a 5/15 start. I have tried so many plans, and this is yet to be the latest attempt at regaining my health. I'm looking forward to a new level of commitment and follow-through on this program.

I just did that!  Day 0 for me.  I just hauled two garbage bags full of stuff to the curb.  Did you know that seasoned salt has sugar in it?  I'm thankful my pickles are okay!  

I agree, I've spent the past 2 years paring down my diet so that I'm making 80-85% of what I eat from scratch.  I still have a nasty Coke habit (Coca Cola, you glorious bastard you) I like to hide, but other than that, I *thought* I was doing good!  I thought I was doing good with grits and oatmeal and making my own hummus...this is going to be hard!

I'm a newbie as well, only starting a day before you.   Everyone says the first two weeks are the worst, and then it's rainbows and unicorns :)   I'm looking forward to at least the unicorns!
