ElleGordon Posted May 22, 2017 Share Posted May 22, 2017 Hi everyone! I'm new to the Whole30 community, and I'm starting tomorrow! Going food shopping tonight to get everything set and ready! I'm a bit nervous. I normally eat healthfully, but I am choosing to do the Whole30 now because I desperately need a physiological and emotional re-set. I have experienced a slew of stomach issues this past year (one culminating in an appendectomy, even though my appendix was healthy!) and have tried many things to help get this back on track (gluten-free, no dairy, etc.) but nothing seems to be creating a lasting helpful impact. I'm in a time of transition, and committing to this program will give me something to look forward to, to give my energy to, and help move me towards positivity. My goal is to shift my eating preferences away from sugars, simple carbs and processed food towards whole food. I have chronic knee pain that I hope improves some too. I shopped this morning and am about to go make some mayo, ranch dressing and the red pepper stuff to be ready. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you, ElleGordon! - ToryB.
