Gangster_tinkerbell Posted May 31, 2017 Share Posted May 31, 2017 Tomorrow is my first day. I've resisted anything resembling a "diet" for most of my life. Overall I'm a very active person who eats reasonably healthy and while I don't love my body (I mean who does?) I can still run a 5k and do a push up or two. However over the last couple months I've been dealing with the worst eczema outbreak I've had in over a decade. I've been crippled with severe depression and scaring my friends and family. And even with my physical activity I am the chubbiest I've been in a long time. I'm 33 and have PCOS and the winter weight that used to melt off in May seems to have settled in for the long haul. I don't have access to health care so therapy and prescription meds are not an option. I'm ready to make a big change. My biggest worry is about how this will affect my social life. I'm a bartender as are most of my friends and drinking is a side effect of what I do. Here's to finding creative new ways to connect with the people I love.
