Day 24 - Heartburn

So I've always struggled with heartburn and one of the reasons I started a Whole30 was to see if changing my eating helped. I realize I'm not done yet, but wanted to see if I could get some advice. This is a typical day for me:

Breakfast: Egg bake with red/green peppers, onion and Aidells chicken and apple sausage. Coffee with coconut cream

Between breakfast and lunch is usually when the heartburn kicks in. Today I eliminated the coffee and did not have heartburn during this time period.

Lunch: Sweet Potato Shepard's Pie from original Whole30 book

Sometimes I have heartburn after lunch too. That was the case today.

Dinner: Salad with romaine lettuce, proscuitto, roasted red peppers, and italian vinaigrette from original Whole30 cookbook.

I do not typically have heart burn in the evening. 

Should I just give this more time? Maybe it's the onion in both the breakfast and lunch? Considering going back on Omeprazole...
