Mayo....GRRRREAT!!!

I just turn it on, let everything combine and then I drizzle away. I use a squeeze bottle for the oil. I can see the tv from my kitchen so I just stand there and watch tv while it S-L-O-W-L-Y dribbles out.. LOL. I should mention that I have had some fails, but it hasn't deterred me from mayo making! Usually, if it fails, I squeeze in some extra lemon juice and blend it a couple more minutes then I have salad dressing or use it as a sauce over shrimp or chicken. I think some of my fails can be attributed to not letting ingredients come to room temp(because I am be impatient :P) and others times I just blame it on Florida weather. :)

Nicole, it depends how warm/cold your house is. I just take everything out the night before and make my mayo the next morning. I would guess a couple of hours would be fine.
