I have a serious problem with processed sugar so I'm joining/trying Whole30 to try and get a handle on that. I also want to learn more about food: how different things can affect a person's body, where it comes from, how it's made, and why it all makes a difference. I think eating only whole foods for 30 days will shed light on just how important food is; to humans, animals, and the environment. My two main goals are to start 1) the process of killing the sugar dragon and 2) to peel back the layers of the food industry (in the U.S.) and how it is affecting our relationship with food. I guess this program (for me) will be as much about changing my food lifestyle as it is about research. I'm SO nervous, but VERY excited!!
