Torrance Aegolius
I am right now on day 8 of my first ever Whole30. I'm finally not feeling like I want to shoot someone to get a diet coke! Unfortunately, I just realized I may have messed up. On day 3 I ate fresh ground cashew butter, probably 3 tablespoons. How bad is this? Should I count today as my day 5? Thanks! Susan W
No, nut butters are allowed. I am too easily sucked into eating too many nuts or too much nut butter, but many here eat them both.
missmary
nope. if it's just cashews (no icky oils or soy or whatnot) you're fine.
KRose
Nut butters are a good source of fat, but dont be fooled by the name peaNUT butter... peanuts are legumes and not W30 approved... I love me some almond butter on celery with raisins (and yes I'm a teacher so I eat kiddie food lol)
