Multi-Vitamin

Recommended Posts

I take a Centrex Silver multi-vitamin everyday and would like to continue to do so when I start the Whole 30 program next week.  The ingredients are:  Calcium Carbonate, Potassium Chloride, Dibasic Calcium Phosphate, Magnesium Oxide, Ascorbic Acid (Vit. C), Microcrystalline Cellulose, dl-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vit. E), Modified CornStarch, Corn Starch, Maltodextrin. Contains <2% of:Beta-Carotene, BHT (to preserve freshness), Biotin, Blue 2 Lake, Calcium Pantothenate, Cholecalciferol (Vit. D3), Chromium Picolinate, Copper Sulfate, Crospovidone, Cyanocobalamin (Vit. B12), Folic Acid, Gelatin, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Hypromellose, Lutein, Lycopene, Magnesium Stearate, Manganese Sulfate, Medium-Chain Triglycerides, Niacinamide, Nickelous Sulfate, Phytonadione (Vit. K), Polydextrose, Potassium Iodide, Pregelatinized CornStarch, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vit. B6), Red 40 Lake, Riboflavin (Vit. B2), Silicon Dioxide, Sodium Ascorbate (to preserve freshness), Sodium Metavanadate, Sodium Molybdate, Sodium Selenate, Talc, Thiamine Mononitrate (Vit. B1), Titanium Dioxide, Tocopherols (to preserve freshness), Vitamin A Acetate, Yellow 6 Lake, Zinc Oxide.

I see corn starch which I know is a "no-no", but I can't see taking 1 tablet 1x a day would sabotage the Whole30 program.  If I can't take this vitamin, can you suggest one I can take?  Thank you.

It's got several different corn starches and a couple different sugars.

Really, if you're eating a variety of vegetables and meats and are able to get some vitamin D from the sun, you should be fine without the vitamin pills.
