DebG44
I'm starting my Whole30 challenge on SPetember 20. I work 10 hour night shifts, 7 on 7 off. Anyone have any tips working a big stretch like that, and switching back to a normal schedule on my weeek off?

Moderators ShannonM816 Posted September 7, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 7, 2017 The link Jim posted is definitely a good resource. I'd also say that since your shift is longer than a typical 8-hour work day, you may find you need an extra meal on those days, and that's fine. I would try to eat within an hour of waking up, and then every 4-5 hours after that. If you find you don't need a full fourth meal, I'd still try to have protein, fat, and vegetable, just in smaller portions, rather than having snacks of nuts or fruit. Cheryl Ilene
I think that prepping a ton of food as soon as you get it home from the market so that you can pack easily for night shift is good advice. https://whole30.com/2017/06/whole30-overnights-1/
