Day two finds me feeling a little off.... Tired and a bit nauseas. Is that normal?

Breakfast:

3 Egg omelet w/ sausage crumbles.

Picante sauce

green beans

 

Lunch:

7 layer salad with egg and bacon bits

Paleo Ranch dressing

 

Dinner:

Spaghetti Squash

Ground meat crushed tomato sauce from Whole 30 cookbook

 

Haven't made the ground meat sauce yet but the spaghetti squash is cooked and waiting. My youngest daughter, Tina Rudderow, tells us that the sauce is delicious so I'm looking forward to it. I think it will be a bit of a challenge to bypass the parmesan cheese I would normally sprinkle over it, but not an absolute must.....

Day three: Felt a bit better today and had my bridge replaced at the Dentists office. Now I can chew on both sides of my mouth again!

Breakfast:

3 egg omelet with sausage

Asparagus

Green Beans

 

Lunch:

Rotisserie Chicken

Mixed steamed veggies

handful of grapes and 1/4 cup macadamia nuts

 

Dinner:

7 layer salad w/bacon and hardboiled eggs

Paleo Ranch Dressing

 

We had a guest speaker from Bulgaria at church tonight, Zhoro Pencheva and his wife Mariana. It was an excellent evening, good message and much humor! They both grew up during the Communist control of Bulgaria and attended the underground church. The police raided the church and while they tried to get Mariana (age 16) to denounce her faith, she refused. They called her up on stage at school and told the whole school. Mariana was persecuted in school by the teachers and the other students for being a believer. We, in America, have no idea what Christians world wide have suffered and the general population suffered tremendously as well. 

We have so much to be thankful for and yet there is so much division and hate in America today! God help us before we destroy everything we have been so blessed with!

Day 4: So far so good! I haven't had much trouble with cravings until I went to the store today and every time I turned around there was something that we can't have that seemed to jump out at me! Crazy experience for sure.

Breakfast

1/4 avocado

 

Lunch

Salad w/egg

Paleo Ranch Dressing

handful of grapes

1/4 cup macadamia nuts

Salad w/Paleo Ranch Dressing

Day 5: A day that started out fine but turned into one of great sadness and pain. I will be flying out to Texas sometime next week so I don't know what effect that will have on my Whole30 commitment.

Breakfast

rotisserie chicken breast slice and wing meat
