Ideally you'll fuel your workouts/activity with pre and post workout mini-meals and create your other meals so that they last you 4-5 hours in between. Until you get your composition and volume right for you, eating between meals would be ideally a protein + fat or protein + vegetable. Don't lean towards fruits or nuts as they don't give the same satiation as p+f or p+v.

You don't need to start over unless you've eaten something off plan... going forward just use the recommendations as above :)
