Lynn Brewer
I am on day 10 of round 1, and am loving this! I did have a question about one of my favorite breakfasts that I have continued to enjoy on Whole30 but am wondering if it goes against the spirit of the program. I slice up a banana, top it with a handful of raw nuts, unsweetened coconut flakes, drizzle with tahini and a shake of cinnamon. I've eaten this for years, usually once or twice a week. I know it's technically compliant, but now I am wondering?? Most mornings it's sauteed veggies, eggs, bacon, or leftovers. Thoughts?
laura_juggles
It's all fat and sugar...where's the protein? Where are the veggies?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted November 2, 2017 Moderators Share Posted November 2, 2017 It is technically compliant. How do you feel when you have this for breakfast? Do you get hungry more quickly? Feel bloated? Find yourself craving other sweet things? The meal template is a recommendation, not a rule, but it's recommended because it really does make a difference. Lynn Brewer
Thanks - I always feel fine after eating, but will try to hold off until after I finish, and use the recommended template.
