How to consistently track mood and energy level

I'm starting the Whole30 today. I want to track mood (or "happiness") as well as perceived physical energy level during the Whole30 and reintroduction. Does anyone have a scale to use to track these consistently? I'm thinking of something like a 1 to 5 scale with descriptions of what each value looks like.  

Something similar in concept to the Pain Scale: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pain_scale

If there isn't anything existing I'll create my own and share it here.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I know many Etsy shops that do planner pages to print have printable charts to use -- I searched mood tracking printables here:  https://www.etsy.com/search?q=mood tracking printables -- maybe something there would be helpful?

Whatever you come up with, definitely come back and share how you're using it, and what you figure out with it.

Thank you, Matt, for sharing the spreadsheet. I did a quick check on my emotions throughout the day and was surprised at the emotions I related to my day. It was a lot worse than I remember it being.....I don't think we give much thought to our emotions throughout the day and really track them anyway. Thx! I will definately be using this for the remainder of my W30.
