T’s First Whole30! Log

Hi all! My name is Trish and this is my first time doing Whole30! My hubs is trying with me (well, eating the food I make for him haha). We began January 1! I know I need some accountability to keep on track, so here goes.

 

I won’t take the time to list out what we are eating for meals this first week as we are following the book’s week one template. Some tweets- hubs is using a nut based coffee creamer. And instead of butternut squash soup we are just having butternut squash lol.

 

For snacks, I hard boiled extra eggs and we have compliant deli turkey and bell pepper.

 

So far its going well. I haven’t (yet?) experienced the ‘hangover’ phase described and since I’m starting a new job today- I REALLY hope I don’t! The only thing I’m noticing is a much smaller appetite than I’m used to.

welcome! It's my first W30 as well. I too notice less of an appetite...I did get the hangover but thankfully that only lasted a day. Hope you made it through the 1st day ok!
