Julie Romero
I struggle with water intake. I have recently started buying and drinking exclusively PH water from my local co-op. The PH is usually 10-12...first of all is that too high?...and secondly is it okay that more than 50% of my daily intake is that water which I steep with lemon and ginger and drink both hot and cold as a ‘tea’. Does it still count as water?
Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 11, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 11, 2018 No clue on pH, you'd have to look that up elsewhere as it's not at all within the scope or awareness of the Whole30 program. But lemon ginger water is fine.
Julie Romero
I know the components are compliant but can I count that as water intake or should I be drinking plain water?

If all it is is lemon and ginger soaked in water then yes, definitely.
kje77
Want to be sure that a lemon ginger tea I got it is compliant, as the ingredients include licorice root and natural licorice flavor among other ingredients and am not sure about them. Attached the label below. On day 27 and don’t want to make a mistake this late in the game!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted February 23, 2019 Moderators Share Posted February 23, 2019 This is fine.
