Soy in animal protein

I get the idea behind eliminating soy in the Whole30.  I am wondering, however, how much soy we are still ingesting from all the animal proteins.  As I understand, soy products are a major component ofcommercial animal feeds — organic too.  Does it really make any sense to eliminate tofu, soy milk, edamame, etc. but still consume commercially produced meats?

Soy is extremely disruptive.  In order to make the program accessible to all, people can eat commercially farmed meats becasue that may be all they're able to afford or get their hands on.  It wouldn't be fair to people unable to afford grass fed meat to tell them that they're not able to do a program because of their economic status.  That said, we can remove the soy we can count... and that means soy products and soy ingredients.   If someone is extremely allergic, then the soy in animal proteins will probably bother them and those people would want to take a more definitive approach to removing even that trace amount of soy but for most people, removing 'countable' soy is suitable.
