Kari Wilson
So last night, I took a sip of a can of water that my toddler had been drinking and gulped backwashed animal crackers. No idea how much since it just went down. It was gross. Do I need to start over?
RB1
I think the hard rule is to restart but I think I remember something from the book saying that if it would cause you too much stress to restart that it would be acceptable to keep going. This is my second round but a few months ago on Day 27 I accidentally taste tested something non compliant for my mom that she was making for my child. I was horrified but I would have had a grownup meltdown if I considered starting over again so I just kept going...
Kari Wilson
My goal is to really understand the reintroduction phase to see what bothers me. I guess my question is will that screw with that? I'm sure it was just a tiny bit, but not sure how it works.
RB1
That I really don't know. Good luck!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted January 14, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 14, 2018 Generally, we direct people to this article and let them decide for themselves: https://whole30.com/2014/06/really-start-whole30/ It's hard to say exactly how much a small amount of something will affect your reintroductions, but wheat is more likely to cause issues than sugar. RandiW
Not that it necessarily matters, but what day are you on? If it's early, just add a few days to your W30 to give yourself a more sure reset..
Kari Wilson
I was on day 10. I think what I'll do is have gluten be the last food I reintroduce. That way I'll have it out of my system for long enough. Thanks for your advice!
