Sarahsalzy
I drink water but my husband is being supportive by dieting with me. He only drinks Diet Snapple Lemon Iced Tea. We both noticed that Iced Tea was ok for the diet, although I know drinking Snapple is not good for him. What’s the verdict as far as the diet goes ? laura_juggles
Diet teas, like diet soda, have sweeteners. Sweeteners are out for Whole30. Unsweetened iced tea is fine during Whole30.

Sorry, what do you mean "the verdict"? This product would contain a sweetener of some sort which would render it non-compliant. You can have iced tea if it doesn't have any non-compliant ingredients in it.
Sarahsalzy
I thought all Iced Tea was ok. We are 12 days in and I wonder if this is why he’s not feeling any different. I guess we have to start the diet over ?
Sarahsalzy
Diet Snapple Iced Tea has no sugar in it
MarisaS
It has Aspartame, which is an artificial sweetner. If you go to this link: https://whole30.com/downloads/whole30-sugar.pdf, there is a list of all of the different names that count as sugar. They sneak it into EVERYTHING! Sarahsalzy
Thanks for your response! Do you think drinking this could explain why we don’t feel a difference in our diet ?
Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 30, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 30, 2018 @Sarahsalzy - seems unlikely. Provide some detail about what you've been eating, timing, quantities, stress, exercise, sleep etc. Include what your previous intake looked like (or how it's different from Whole30) and what you were hoping to get out of the program.
