RckyMtnAngL
Hi everyone! I just started W30 yesterday and looking forward to a place to share, ask questions, and support one another! I have one daughter who’s done SEVERAL W30’s and another just completing her first W30! I did fine Day 1, not tired at all today, but HUNGRY. I’ve read other posts and think I’ve eaten enough to NOT be hungry. Do i want more broccoli? Nope, so think I’m CARB hungry.. how does everyone get through these trying days? Thanks! Make sure you're eating at least a fist sized serving of starchy carb a day - this way of eating isn't meant to be low carb/no carb. If you've been making your meals to the template, they should start to last you between 4 and 5 hours. Depending on what your nutrtion was like previously, it could still be genuine hunger. Sometimes if our bodies have been deprived of genuine nutrients for a time, when we start feeding ourselves properly, the body is like 'yaaaa, more of that right NOW'. So feel free to eat if you think you're hungry and not just craving, just make it a mini meal of protien and fat and ideally some veg... maybe a scoop of chicken salad on cucumber slices... something like that but stay away from fruit on its own and nuts/nut butters as they can be food without brakes and cause digestive upset.
