Bold North
This is round two for me of the Whole30. After doing this for the first time in June of 2016 - I lost 15 lbs in one month, had more energy, my head was clear from congestion, and I felt great. Unfortunately, I reintroduced foods quickly and fell back into my old eating habits. One of the biggest challenges for me on the Whole30 is the no alcohol rule. This time around - I stopped drinking alcohol in early January and took my time to go back onto the Whole30 diet. I started on Monday January 29 - and I already feel better. Bloating has decreased and this morning my head started to clear. But, I started getting vertigo because apparently my entire head is inflamed with mucus etc. I am hoping to figure out what I am allergic to this time around and take my time to patiently re-introduce foods - before our trip to Paris in April. Here's to round two - I hope to make it stick this time.
AnitaC
I thought my vertigo was coming back until I read here somewhere to always salt my food. Because you're not eating processed foods, you're not getting enough sodium. Once I started salting my food, the dizziness was gone. I hope this helps.
