lvd
I'm on day 12 and for the last week I've been extremely tired, going to bed around 9:30-10pm, and then having trouble getting up the next morning. I sleep through my alarms and am barely able to get out of bed before 7:00, when usually I would be up before my alarm at 6:15. And then I'm barely staying awake throughout the day. Example of what I'm eating: Breakfast: 3 eggs scrambled made w/ ghee, about 3/4 cup has browns, 1/2 avocado, handful of berries. Coffee with coconut milk Lunch: Shredded salsa verde chicken over salad (butter lettuce, tomatoes, 1/2 avocado), with lime juice and olive oil dressing Dinner: Sauteed veggies (broccoli or brussels sprouts), roasted potatoes and chicken thighs cooked in olive oil For snack, if I have one usually an apple or some olives. I thought adding more starch might help with the exhaustion, but it hasn't seemed to have done anything.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 2, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 2, 2018 Hi @lvd - your meals seem alright to me - maybe you could add some sturdier veggies to your salad but overall it's probably fine. If you're female, are you approaching your period? Maybe you're getting sick? Do you exercise? If so, type and do you fuel for and after it? How much water are you drinking? Salting your food? lvd
I did just finish my period, and while I was on I added an extra serving of potatoes (either sweet or white) because I know I usually need more carbs during it. In terms of water, this is probably what I'm worst at and am trying to get myself to drink at least 90oz a day but probably end up closer to 50 or 60. I don't think I'm getting sick and haven't been making it to the gym because I would usually go in the mornings.
