april_espi
Hello! My name is April and I am excited to be on day 1 of my journey. I have a question about cooking with oils and wasn't sure where to post as it's not specifically related to cooking and recipes. As someone who used to "track macros" (count and keep track of calories and macronutrients), I can't help but think about the number of calories in coconut and olive oil. Yes, I know they're healthy but should I be concerned if I'm going from cooking with cooking spray to cooking with oils? I know the Whole30 isn't about weight loss but I also don't want to gain a ton of weight if I can avoid it. Thanks for your help! -April

The WOE we are trying to encourage here is FAR removed from counting calories & tracking macros. Not all calories are created equal, and your body needs WAY more fat to function effectively than most people believe, or what many would lead us to believe. Follow the template, eat to satiety, three times a day, stop tracking according to what a generic equation tells you you should eat, and learn to listen to your body's hunger signals....
