turtledove
Day 11 - My daughter was making meringue cookies for a class project. After I helped her get it in to the piping bag, I licked my finger. About 20 seconds later, I realized what I had done and rinsed my mouth out. Ugh, it was so mindless, I wasn't even thinking! I'm so upset right now.
hotwheels
I had a very similar experience with making a dinner dish for my kids. I was warming alfredo sauce and somehow a drop got on my finger as I was serving it, and I licked it! I realized immediately and spit it out. I say don't be too hard on yourself. Keep going! KBTB
Hello. My experience was similar. My 12-y.o. daughter sat down her cup of milk near me when I was sitting down about to eat my Whole 30 compliant meal and while changing the channel, instead of drinking my compliant Green Tea, I took a swig of her milk. I didn't notice until it was already in my throat, which by the way, it tasted nasty since I was on day 22. Thoughts? Should I start over? She felt really bad, btw and my husband was angry because he knew how hard I've worked to get to this point but it was purely an accident.
