kmontes417
Can I have to have silk unsweetened vanilla on whole30? Here are the ingredients: ALMONDMILK (FILTERED WATER, ALMONDS), CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF: VITAMIN & MINERAL BLEND (CALCIUM CARBONATE, VITAMIN E ACETATE, VITAMIN A PALMITATE, VITAMIN D2), SEA SALT, NATURAL FLAVOR, LOCUST BEAN GUM, GELLAN GUM, ASCORBIC ACID (TO PROTECT FRESHNESS). The carton was already opened when I started the Whole30 and I'd hate to waste it. I tried to find the answer already on the Forum but I didn't find this specific questions. Thanks! Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 28, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 28, 2018 Hi @kmontes417 - this is fine. For determining compliance, you need to review the ingredients themselves so even if the exact product hasn't been declared on the forum, you can still determine compliance by reviewing the ingredients on the one you have. kmontes417
Thanks Ladyshanny! I read the ingredients but was so confused on how it's called "Unsweetened Vanilla" WITHOUT having vanilla in the ingredients. And I know vanilla extract is not allowed. That's why I wanted to double-check. Thanks!
