Ketchdesign
Can someone fill me in on the "Instapot"? What does it do? Does it make things easier for cooking for this new way to eat??? Do they come in different sizes? (I live alone and just have me to feed most of the time). What are some of the things you cook in them that you like? Where might I get one? Moderators ShannonM816 Posted March 2, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 2, 2018 It's an electric pressure cooker. It's not necessary, but it can be useful -- it cooks food very quickly. This is a good summary of how it works and some stuff you can make in it: https://nomnompaleo.com/post/125878339293/my-top-paleo-pressure-cookerinstant-pot-recipes

bart
I have one that I bought after reading about it on the nomnom paleo site. I too live by myself, and while it's not a necessity in the kitchen, it is kind of nice to be able toss some of my veggies in there, power it up, and let it go, knowing it'll be cooked done fairly quickly. I've done some meals in there too, but it's been a while. I plan on using it more often on those items. I have a different one than is listed in the recall notice.
