Maddie's mom
I had my whole stomach removed because of cancer 8 years ago. I'm 20 days into my first Whole30 and since the beginning my blood sugar gets pretty low every 2 hours. I can't eat 3 meals a day yet (at least not without snacking in between). (Since the surgery, my meals are pretty small.) I had hoped this would improve after the first week or two... But it hasn't. I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with this with no stomach. Moderators ShannonM816 Posted April 7, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 7, 2018 This isnt something I've personally dealt with, but I can tell you that if it is physically not possible for you to eat just three large meals a day, divide your meals up however you need to. Just focus on having veggies, protein, and fat each time, fruit only occasionally and with a,meal, not on its own. I know this is what people who have smaller stomachs due to weight loss surgery have to do -- I'm not sure how your situation compares to that, but the point is, the recommendations cover most people, but if they don't work for you, adjust as necessary.
