Whole30 and backpacking

Plannong to start whole ep in a couple of weeks after a planned trip where we won’t have much control over our food.  Downside is that puts us on our wilderness backpacking trip 7days post whole30.  Does anyone have experience with this or advice?  Thanks.

I would not do reintroductions in the backcountry....if something doesn't sit well it'll be mighty unpleasant. I also would advise not suddenly eating a lot of nuts if you don't regularly eat them. That can also be mighty unpleasant. If you have a dehydrator, you can make your own meals.

You've got 7 days after your Whole 30, so concentrate on introducing the things that you'll most likely want/need to consume on the trip, like rice or maybe pasta (although gluten is generally one of the last things to introduce, so maybe a gluten free pasta?). As @slc_melissa said, a dehydrator makes it easy as you can just make a normal compliant meal and dehydrate it (I've done this, super easy).
