Kristen F
I am on Day 27 and finally noticing progress with my IBS symptoms, but have developed a new symptom for about he past week or so. My stomach is churning especially at night. I am not hungry as I eat a good size dinner. It has been keeping me up all night and continues until around 9am the next morning. It seems to start back up about an hour after dinner. Or possibly I just don't notice it when I am active. I did not have this symptom on a regular basis before Whole30. I even have been 90% low fodmap since these new symptoms began. It is also at times accompanied by a pain under my left rib cage. I do take xantac for reflux. Any suggestions why whole30 would cause this but not until over half way through? I am even steaming my veggies. Could it be all the eggs that I didnt normally eat before whole30? Kristen F
Hello again. While I did not receive any replies, I thought I would share a positive update in case it benefits others. I have always eaten salads for lunch. When I started whole30 I read there is not much nutritional value in lettuce so I switched to spinach. I recently read spinach raw has a type of acid not well tolerated by everyone. I switched back to spring mix and within about 2-3 days, no more churning stomach! This is in fact the best I have felt on Whole30.
